There is a big service station for many vehicles going North-West to Paris and South-East to Lyon. It is not good for traffic goin East to Metz, etc.―Anonymous

Certainly the best place in Châlons-en-Champagne if you're going to Troyes by national road. Stand in the exit of the gas station, there is enough space for the cars to stop (even those that don't go into the gas station). I've been there twice. Misteriously doesn't work when it's rainy, but under good weather it's very good.―Anonymous

If you are heading to Germany, good place. Got a ride all the way to center Germany after about 30 minutes. You can also try hitching on the roundabout to get on the N44, there were lots of trucks when I hitched in the morning.―Anonymous

The place is good. We were standing beneath the bridge for a shade, the cars were slow and there was a place to stop. But it depends where you are going. We wanted to go to south (Troyes), and waited 2 hours without any result. Meanwhile there were 3 cars which stopped and all of them were going to either Strasbourg or Metz, so if you wanna go eastwards, it is really good spot.―Anonymous

très bon spot pour aller direction reims, se placer ici dès le matin pour récupérer les personnes qui vont travailler (se mettre sur la piste cyclade avant le rond point)―barish

Waited a long time to go to Metz. Many families going for holiday to the South (lots of Dutch people too). Found many rides to Troyes but we didn't need them. Not the greatest spot in my opinion.―Anonymous
