Quite a good spot. It is possible to stay safe et hitchhike behind the barrier. I counted approximative 6 cars/min. There is enough space for the cars to stop. The only bad news is that there is no shade at all. I wanted to go to Narbonne form Clermont l'Hérault, I got a ride to go to Pézenas in 6min, made me happy.―Anonymous

It’s one of the best spots to leave Grenoble going if you want to go north or south west. Very good traffic to the point we had to decline rides because they were too short. We used a Montpellier sign we found there from previous hitchhikers, although we only were expecting to get to valance a married couple brought us to a small village behind Montpellier. 10 juillet 2014, j'ai attendu une trentaine de minute avec une pancarte MILLAU. Il n'y avait que peu de passage ce qui peu expliquer la durée d'attente.J'ai été déposé à St Félix de Lodez où là-bas, ce fut très difficile de repartir.
Le problème de cette autoroute est qu'étant gratuite, beaucoup l'empruntent pour seulement quelques dizaines de kilomètres et vont dans des villages où presque personne n'entre sur l'autoroute.

Trafic lent du fait de la sortie de rond-point.
Peu de passage.
Place pour s'arrrêter un peu limite mais comme il n'y que peu de passage, l'accès pourrait bien ne pas être géné.
