We tried asking people at the toilet but there were not that many so we stood infront of the green thing and got a ride

(1 - female) Really good spot to go to France, during the lunch hour, a lot ok people stop to lunch, and you can ask and see with the car if there are French, Belge, ND … I found after 15 min a car who goes to the border but I decide to wait to find a better one. After few minutes I found a car to Toulouse, my final destination, it was perfect ! I didn’t use a sign, just talk to people who stop or who put some essence.

Avec le panneau PAU. Mais personne n'arrête. Qq m'a pris à l'entrée de l'autoroute Même s'il allait seulement à Portet.

Best spot on my trip yet. Getting there was a bit rough but managable having to go through the Woods and over highway crossing car bridge from the industrial zone. Consider hitching a ride there instead of the bus. But once there i talked to 2 different people. And the second were some portuguese Guys that took me all the way to toulouse at 19:30! It doesnt really get better than that.

It's a huge service station, so I wanted at the end where every car was passing by and found a ride to Toulouse! but you can go to a lot of directions!

You must take a bus from Avignon to Remoulins and ask the bus driver to direct you to the Gare de Péage de Remoulins at Intersection 23 on A9 . This is a VERY good place to hitch South on A9

Not a great spot, very little time for the cars to see you and a lot of people are just going to the other side of the city. Eventually found a car going to Paris that dropped us in Caussade

Bad spot if you want to go to the city, it's not accessible by foot. However, I met a few people that told me they were going to the highway.

Really little traffic but I was lucky and a trucker took me to Toulouse.

To Bayonne, good spot but only the cars that stop to go to te toilets can really see you... Got lucky I guess, but not bad at all honestly. Got to jump a little fence, nothing too crazy

Very good spot. I always leave Montpellier from there. You can go to the west (Béziers, Narbonne, Toulouse, Perpignan...) or the east and north (Nîmes, Marseilles, Lyon ...)This time I had a sign "Toulouse" and got a ride directly to Frouzins (south west of Toulouse). A guy solo with just one place. This day I hitchiked with a French girl going from Marseilles to Toulouse. We had to separate since the guy had just one place. If you read this message, I hope you got a lift and could manage to reach Toulouse on time ;)

Picked up instantly and got a ride to Toulouse - lucky. The driver was a circus guy.

Just before the entrance to the ring road (direct to the highway), stand between the 2 traffic lights and smile!

I found it very excellent point for hitchhiking on highway A64, though there is a sign not to walk, but who cares if stand 10 metes behind it. Lod of space to stand and low traffic at four o'clock.
