Avec le panneau PAU. Mais personne n'arrête. Qq m'a pris à l'entrée de l'autoroute Même s'il allait seulement à Portet.

First car took us ! Good spot for asking to the people who go to the toilets there

It's a huge service station, so I wanted at the end where every car was passing by and found a ride to Toulouse! but you can go to a lot of directions!

Not a great spot, very little time for the cars to see you and a lot of people are just going to the other side of the city. Eventually found a car going to Paris that dropped us in Caussade

Bad spot if you want to go to the city, it's not accessible by foot. However, I met a few people that told me they were going to the highway.

Really little traffic but I was lucky and a trucker took me to Toulouse.

To Bayonne, good spot but only the cars that stop to go to te toilets can really see you... Got lucky I guess, but not bad at all honestly. Got to jump a little fence, nothing too crazy

Very good spot. I always leave Montpellier from there. You can go to the west (Béziers, Narbonne, Toulouse, Perpignan...) or the east and north (Nîmes, Marseilles, Lyon ...)This time I had a sign "Toulouse" and got a ride directly to Frouzins (south west of Toulouse). A guy solo with just one place. This day I hitchiked with a French girl going from Marseilles to Toulouse. We had to separate since the guy had just one place. If you read this message, I hope you got a lift and could manage to reach Toulouse on time ;)

Just before the entrance to the ring road (direct to the highway), stand between the 2 traffic lights and smile!

Peage towards Pau via A64

I found it very excellent point for hitchhiking on highway A64, though there is a sign not to walk, but who cares if stand 10 metes behind it. Lod of space to stand and low traffic at four o'clock.

Very good way to go to Paris. Probably a good way to get to Bordeaux too. I find it good to stand a bit before the bus stop, so people have room to stop.

may be nice for going north, but for the south or in direction of auch, people have to be on the left side of the road where there is no space to stop...

Good spot to go north (Paris, Bordeaux). Easy access by bus. Stand by the bus stop where cars can stop easily.
