To Bayonne, good spot but only the cars that stop to go to te toilets can really see you... Got lucky I guess, but not bad at all honestly. Got to jump a little fence, nothing too crazy―vlad2l2t

Very good spot. I always leave Montpellier from there. You can go to the west (Béziers, Narbonne, Toulouse, Perpignan...) or the east and north (Nîmes, Marseilles, Lyon ...)This time I had a sign "Toulouse" and got a ride directly to Frouzins (south west of Toulouse). A guy solo with just one place. This day I hitchiked with a French girl going from Marseilles to Toulouse. We had to separate since the guy had just one place. If you read this message, I hope you got a lift and could manage to reach Toulouse on time ;)―Wattmoon

Hard to reach on a sunday (bus 58 to "Méditerranée", then on the left for a 30 mn walk), but we were took immediately by a driver going to Bayonne!―Anonymous

Great spot to hitchhike to Bayonne. Got a lift after one minute directly to this city. Once arrived in the last stop of bus n°50, come back to the same way to the first intersection. Then turn left to the direction of the highway. Go straight at the roadabout and take the bridge above the highway. After the bridge take the first road on left to get on the highway. Right after the peage there is a parking where trucks stop. Ask drivers!―Anonymous

we tried here and also directly on the road n124 (this is a big road, like a highway, so people go very fast) but it didn't work at all...―Mikan

Octobre 2011, j'ai fais ici, du stop, sans pancarte, un matin où il y avait grève de train.J'ai été pris au bout de 15 ou 20 minutes pour être déposé à L'Isle-Jourdain.

I was taken to this spot by some nice guys from Toulouse. Even though the wait was 30 minutes, I found an awesome ride with great conversation. I recommend this spot because there is enough space for cars to pull over, lots of cars pass. Only bad thing is that you need to get dropped off here or walk to this location!―Anonymous
