I think I got big luck. I was dropped but my previous car when a couple of Belgium came to me asking me where I was heading. There didn't seem to be a lot of traffic at that moment of the day.―Anonymous

Good spot to HH. Good traffic, at least 8 car/min. Quite an adventure to reach the gas station from Paris. Metro, RER, a bus and 45min walk in the sun but worth it. I climbed a 180cm wall to get into the station but there is some kind of hole in the metallic fence that can be used too. I waited 1h10 with my thumb and a sign to Orleans and Clermont Ferrand. There was a lot of family with full cars, foreigners (NL, B, D) and french. I got luck and found a car heading to Toulouse.I recommend wondering around and asking people I they will accept you in their car.

Bad spot if you want to go to the city, it's not accessible by foot. However, I met a few people that told me they were going to the highway.―Raphi

Quite nice I could skip over all of Toulouse from here which is rather rare for such big cities. This rest area was full of truck drivers.―TillWenke

This is the péage for the highway to the North, Bordeaux, Limoges, Paris... Most of the people going far north will see you there and stop thanks to the toll ;)―Anonymous

From the center of Toulouse, You can use a subway + bus to go to this toll gateThe bus 60 from subway "La Vache" until the bus station "Laparou" after take the dead end in the other side until a whole, on the right, after a little hill, you will see 2 doors, the right door is open to the toll gate !!! (precision : the busline is temporarily under construction around this busstation, you will walk just a little more about 200 meters)
