Good place, next to parking, cars going slow and have space to stop. Lot of cars going to Marseille direction or Montpellier. One guy took us (2) from here to toll behind Montpellier, which wasn’t the best idea, because of legality and cars start going there faster. So we jumped the fence and found another place where it was much more safer and comfy. Try to stay on highway if you go long distances and petrol stations as well. Hard spot to go north direction Valence/Lyon. Should be quite easy to go to Nimes or direction Marsaille. I couldn't manage for my life to get anyone who was going past Nimes in my direction. Christmas days, lots of full cars and pouring rain. I gave up and got a ride into the city of Montpellier (which was easy).―friki

Good if you are heading south.For traveling north to Montpelier, i wouldn't suggest this. Took almost 2 hours. Cars are slow when exiting the peage but then speed up rapidly to cross into their preferred lane, and as the northbound side is on the left, it's difficult for them to stop. Got a trucker ignore all the mess behind him who picked me up, luckily.
