Good spot if you want to go in the south but toward Lyon, you should go to Montelimar nord.

This station is huge. In July it was really crowded with cars, most of them caring whole families though, without a place for a hitchhiker. On the other hand I got a ride straight to Perpignan, so it's still a great spot I guess. There's a really large recreation area with trees and bushes so it's a fantastic place to camp too.

Took me 5 min to get a ride to Aix-en-Provence. Large station where you can get very good food (out of the rubbish).

Really large station. Lot of traffic. Main direction seems to be Marseille. But it is also easy to get lift towards Nimes, Narbonne

Large truck stop, good to get a ride to direction Orange, Marseille, Montpellier and Spain. Unlikely to get a ride from a passenger car here.

This is a good place to go to the North and Lyon, Besançon, Dijon, Colmar... with the A7.

You must be at the side of the traffic circle that leads to the north entrance of the highway. With a sign or not, it's an efficient spot!

A decent option if you don't want to walk 1 km right next to the highway, but there is light traffic here and it took me a long, long time for someone to stop.
