Quite a safe spot, 25% of the car go in the south direction, cars are slow after roundabouts and there's a bit of space to stop after and before the last roundabout―Anonymous

Right before the toll after the roundabout. Cars going fast though and not much space to stop. However two guys stopped to pick me up to go to Bordeaux.―Cottano

Got dropped off at this gas station. In short time I saw a Deutschland car and tried my luck. I asked politely in German if they had a spot for me. a
Wir haben auf dem Weg viel geredet.
I don't think that I would get this ride without knowing German so know your languages! ;)

A bit awkward for cars to stop, but slower traffic and not that packed so easier for cars to stop―Pofkea

little shadow next to picnic tables, waited 5 minutes before a lady offertes a ride yo Bayonne. There is no space to stop but as the cars go slowly and not so near to each others, an Express stop doesn't hurts―iancespot

I imagine it’s a perfect spot to go to Bordeaux, we asked people around for two hours and 90% of them were going there or nearby (end of the day). We were trying to reach A10 direction Paris. We were about to spend the night there when we found a ride to Angoulême. We were two with a dog.―Anonymous

Great spot for north ride on the highway. The rest area is big and we just asked for people on the parking. Third car took us to Bordeaux. We were two with a dog.―Anonymous

Lots of cars coming through. I asked 5 people or so if they were going towards Paris, which they were because thats the only way to go from here, but they said no. One guy even asked me which was Paris to be able to say he was going the other way lol. But eventually I stood on the entrance with a sign (Paris) and a guy stopped and drove me all the way to the joining of the A11 and the A10, South of Paris.M23

I hitchhiked during holiday season, so there were a lot of cars that were full so I didn't try to ask. After an hour, a car that was going south of Bordeaux to the A63 took me, without a sign.
