Few cars on this motorway. Petrol stations are very quiet. I was hitching to Nantes, most cars going to La Rochelle. Finally i got a direct car, but i waited 45mn.―Dylg

The one and only place to be when you want to go to Rochefort or La Rochelle.The road goes straight there, just after the roundabout there is big stopping place for cars, you're a bit downhill so cars can so you from far away.

Trying to find a ride to Bordeaux, I first waited at the toll, but most cars were going north. After 15 min the staff asked me to move so I went on the point (next to road to the Gendarmerie) and waited more than one hour here before a car stopped.―Anonymous

très bon spot pour aller direction bordeaux, beaucoup de passages et les voitures vont lentement. pour y accéder il faut passer par les champs aux alentours et escalader la barrière (un peu compliqué mais faisable). vaut le coup une fois sur place―barish

très bon spot pour sortir de niort (direction sainte/bordeaux) et avec de la place pour que les voitures s’arrêtent. seul problème il faut y aller à pied, comptez 35 min de marche donc prévoyez de l’eau et des bonnes jambes ahahah―barish
