Not much place to stop, but its possible, yet I wouldnt recommend this spot since many people change directions so its hard to find a car heading to your direction, there is also not much traffic, a car pulled over and took us to an exit few kilometers away, where it was better to hitchhike―Anonymous

There is a good place for cars to stop. And they can see you from far away. But most of the cars are driving fast. Having a sign with your destiny is a great advantage.―Klarocka

I've once been there to hitchhike to Stuttgart with a friend and we had to ask several people until someone gave us a ride, but I think it's probably the best spot in Vaihingen to go to Stuttgart.―Anonymous

We spend almost whole day trying to get out of here. We tried every possible spot around Ikea and petrol station and parking lots. But the cars were full with furniture and had no place for us or going different direction. The bus stop on Franktufter Strasse saved us.―Anonymous

Going to Frankfurt appeared to be way easier than finding somebody going south but we caught a ride to Stuttgart after about 90 minutes.―Anonymous
