Took a while to get a ride. We just asked to go anywhere to the south.―Anonymous

The first person I asked was going to Erfurt and took me all the way to Bad Hersfeld. It was evening so there wasn't much traffic, maybe that's also why the traffic was more long distance. I think the deserted vibe of the gas station made people take pity on me which greatly helped me haha.―Bigworldsmallsarah

Yeah exactly what the other comment said. I walked 30mins to this spot from the highway and it was worth it. The next gas station was small but it is the last one in a long time so many people going towards Giessen stop there apparently.―Bigworldsmallsarah

I got dropped off here by accident, made some mistake with my gps. I wanted to go in the direction of Giessen, which is unlikely from that stop. But even cars going on the A3 towards Cologne didn't stop for me. There wasn't a lot of traffic in the early evening, it was mainly just truckers getting ready for the night and staring at me.―Bigworldsmallsarah

Good stuff. Got picked up by two people who fed me the absolute best Syrian food. 10/10 would recommend.―Bigworldsmallsarah

Enough traffic so you can talk to people and not just wait around. Most traffic is local though. Best to ask for the next town over and not too far in my experience―NR038

Decent spot if you just want to get on the main road. There's a gas station 10 minutes down the road where local drivers can drop you off. There is enough room to stand, drivers can stop fine but the sidebank isn't thst big.―NR038

Put frankfurt on our signs and got a ride from the 5th person we asked. Lot of people and a good place to go south. You can go through the woods and over the fence but it's less of a hassle to just start at the onramp a couple of km back.―NR038

Kiu scias...―Jurobola

Tiu ĉi veturo estis sufiĉe nekutima ĉar la ulo, kiu loĝis en la domo trans la strato, komencis paroli kun mi, kaj kiam li eksciis, ke mi kreskis en Ceará, kie li iam loĝis kaj havis amatinon, li decidis veturigi min. Mi neniam komprenis, ĉu li nur volis helpi min, babili kaj rememori sian junecon aŭ ĉu li vere iris en tiu direkto. Li eĉ donis al mi 20 eŭrojn poste... ĉiuokaze, dankon multe.―Jurobola

Super tough region as there is no highway connection east. Eventually could trick someone to drive into my direction.―TillWenke
