for going to Lübeck, Hamburg, Rostock cars can see you early, there is some space to stop and they can take you up to the petrol station near Rostock.―Anonymous

The spot is ok but not perfect. maybe it is even better to stay in greifswald on the street but not sure about that. On the onramp itself 8direction Rostock) there is not really space so you need to stand few meters before. Drivers can see you well but cars are quite fast here.―Anonymous

Walked along the road since Netto (in hindsight just go through Brandshagen town), first proper looking spot and got a car within 5 minutes, still not the best road for hitchhiking as barely any shoulders (there's an old road entrance here where the car can stop by)―Anonymous
