A lot of local traffic at the gas station. Ended up thumbing down a car at the on ramp. Pretty good space to pull over, but not great visibility.―Anonymous

Took me a whole of five minutes to find a ride all the way to Utrecht (or close anyway since I needed to get further). Very good spot.―Anonymous

Usually a pretty good spot since people go all kinds of places. I asked around four 30mins until I found a ride to near Arnhem (the person was going to Zevenaar)―Anonymous

Good spot, there is a liftershalte 100 meters after the traffic lights, but this makes no sense. Sometimes I wait here too long like 45 minutes, but that is not a problem. To Arnhem Max 15 minutes wait.―Dwz

*The employees don't like hitchhikers here. So don't stand right in front the store as a tip.* Nevertheless, we asked about 50+ cars in 50 minutes maybe even more. Many people just barely going over the border (like Kleve or 's-Heerenberg, Netherlands) or the cars are already full with people. Right as we got told by the employees to stop asking people for a ride. We just got one 2 minutes before al the way to the center of Köln. 140km/90 minute ride. Another group of friends got at this shell at the same time as us and they got a ride all the way to Dusseldorf Airport in 3 minutes of being there. Unfortunately they didn't have room for 4 people, only 3. So that is why we had to wait for 50 additional minutes (we got to Köln earlier though). Many Hitchhikers come here do, just took us a lot of time to get a good ride. It's about luck here!!―Anonymous

Asked a lot of people at the gas station. Everyone went to Arnhem, up north the A12. We needed to go to Köln. I asked someone before at the gas station, we were walking towards the A12, when the person i spoke to earlier honked and said she could take us to Elten, Germany, we settled for the Shell just before the border to have the most options (7 minute ride), but anything helps.―Anonymous

We had got a message just before we got here. To go to Köln, Germany. We thought it was a good idea to be next to the A12 (South. Except everyone is going to Arnhem (North) or Dieren etc (East/A348). We settled for a 5 minute ride to Zevenaar to be on the A12.―Anonymous

Amazing spot if you're going anywhere in the Netherlands. There was a lot of traffic and I quickly found a driver who took me to the service station in the south of Nijmegen. In retrospect, I should have waited here longer and looked for a longer ride.
