Worst spot I could imagine. There is a gas station and Mc Donalds, but dead place and only local cars driving by. I got away by standing at this really dangerous triangle, no place to stop. Getting there was risky aswell, there was no footpath or traffic lights at all. I also asked people at the gas station and Mcdonalds, but I cant recommend.―Anonymous

Got a ride with the second car I asked. Not a lot of cars at around 10:00 in the morning on a friday. Lots of polish car signs and trucks, the people I asked were heading towards Karlsruhe and Ulm.―Anonymous

Rastplatz Hohenlohe NordHitchhiking on Sunday, August 28th was very hard (had to stay overnight) cause cars were full with traveling families and trucks are not allowed to operate on Sundays (except for freezers). However, this place is in the nice area and with plenty of space for camping at the back of the station. I recommend to talk with truck drivers - a lot of them are going to France and willing to take travelers.

Long waiting time and no place to sleep in the night. Don't get tricked by the green dot's in Germany! It's very hard to get a ride here... Only people from abroad help you. Germans are very proud of themselves and are afraid of thieves. Asking for a ride is like: no we don't take hitchhikers, ahh we're going the other way sorry, (nothing he act like he can't see you)―Stanyly

Huge place, a lot of traffic here. Sadly many cars are families so are full. Gas open 24/7 so we could chill a bit.―Cruller

It was better than previous spots I've been to but still very difficult to get a ride in direction of Stuttgart. It's good that there's a burger King on the station―Stanyly
