There s not a lot of space for the cars to stop but I was taken after 15 min to go North on the autobhan on a rest area before the airport, probably I should have waiting more to get a longer ride but I wanted to go on―Krrupt

Nice spot if you’re trying to get into Munich. I had a local pickup and took me 40 min to the other side of the city. Was very nice. Idk if ppl need a good spot to get inside the city but hope this helps.―Wiisportzs

Very chill spot. Right by the entrance to the highway and right next to a shopping plaza where people can pull. The locals are very friendly, always smiling and waving at you. Hitchhiked pretty late too, 6 pm on a Thursday. Was heading to Munich.―Wiisportzs

Always ask on the ferry, it's likely you can find a car going for a very long journey. I got lucky and found a car going directly to Munich. Our ferry was going from Bastia to Livorno.―martih

I did ask 3 people everyone was willing to give a ride but the first 2 went of a few km later, so I went with the third one. I was on his ride till BerlinBut it was difficult to get there. I walked from S Bahn Eching (it took me nearly 1 hour)

Amazing spot going north. So many cars at an alright speed. To get here you need to go through the bushes from the path until you poke out in front of the traffic, but there is an unused lane that gives drivers plenty space to pull over and makes it safe for you to stand. Cops even drove by and didnt care.―Frederik

Very good gas station for hitchhiking. We were standing with a sign (CZ written on it) at the gas station exit. We managed to stop someone who was going directly to Prague!―Anonymous

Not a good spot, someone took us eventually but it wasn’t because this is a good spot… But its better than the one on the other side of the road…―Anonymous

We got here on Friday evening at 18:30. There were not so many cars but most people were very nice and either didn’t have the space or went somewhere else. We waited until 22:30 and then stayed the night at the entrance of the hotel on the other side. When we got back in the morning around 6, Not even 2 minutes after getting there, a nice lady in a van picked us up from the highway. So the earlier you get there the better your chances are.―Arenwithane

Actually this place is dope. I just had trouble finding a lift directly to Munich. I denied 7 or 8 cars for Ulm or Augsburg.―LJIsTooShort
