nice big petrol station including restaurant and burger king (called Aalbek). many people are stopping here, so it should be easy to find someone going in your direction (in my case: hamburg-hannover). short advice: there's another petrol station before entering hamburg but there's far LESS traffic stopping so you should choose this one. ;)―Anonymous

After 1,5h got a lift to Kolding (DK)few traffic towards Denmark, mostly cars going to Kiel, but its possible to get to Denmark from here.

This is a great place to go South (any direction!). I waited for fifteen minutes to get a ride home (Eindhoven, the Netherlands). Took the advice to stop here instead of later on, worked out great!―Mistersunfield

Perfect spot for those going to Kiel/Denmark. Emergency lane starts a bit before the beginning of the highway so stand there.―Anonymous

Waiting almost at the exit i've got dropped near Flensburg and also the driver recommended me a free place for camping where you are covered from the rain, its called Gendarmstien and there's a path from i was dropped off.―Anonymous
