most likely i was really lucky as it doesn't look like the best spot, but i got a ride directly to my destination before i could even set up the sign. better spot than the tankstelle since you catch all the people going to the a20, not only those going out of the city. keep in mind not many people speak english in this part of germany!―Anonymous

you are visible, there is space for the cars to stop. Though traffic was very scarce even on a friday morning. in the end I got a very lucky ride all the way to Denmark, but i would consider the next shoulder '35' next time.―Anonymous
