Great spot, lots of traffic. Approached a few people and was offered a spot in a van with a Kurdish family, all the way to Prague.―Josiiee

Waited over an hour, tried hitching by the road (with a sign) and asking at the gas stations but seemed to only be local traffic. Eventually someone stopped and drove out of their way to drop me along the A13―Josiiee

On a Sunday it’s not very busy, however most cars are headed to Poland. There are 3 exits that join into one at the end of the gas station, we (2) stood on the intersecting island and were picked up quickly by a lovely Polish couple. The spot is quite annoying to get to, especially in the weekends where the bus service barely runs! We had to hitchhike from the nearest by train station to the gas station, however this too was quite quick.―Anonymous

Maybe an illegal spot? I don't know, but I got a ride easily to Berlin. A lot of space to stop.―Jarnohitchikes

You can not get to Berlin from here, so you have to hitchike to Rangsdorf first, on the ramp that turns to Berlin. No one goes to Berlin through this gas station.―Jarnohitchikes

I tried with sign "Świecko" For like 2 hours, no luck getting past Poznań. I switch the sign to Poznań, get a ride straight to Berlin. XD―Jarnohitchikes

Good spot to wait, very easy for cars to pull over and stop just after the lights. Mostly seemed like local traffic though so went ignored by about 200 cars before someone pulled over. On my way to Prague and got a lift to Dresden from here―InternationalSim

Asked around with sign Hamburg. Lots of cars, and trucks too, calm. Most people, specially trucks, going towards Hannover, but still possible to go direction Hamburg.―friki

Solo female, for me it worked well. Lots of space to stop on the side, a lot of truck drivers going through, and cars coming from the KFC or gas station. Had a sign Berlin, as I wanted to go through Cottbus.―friki

We got lucky here. Immediately when we hitchhiked from Berlin Airport a super cool guy saw us getting out of the car and took us right away. From here to Rheine is crazy.―Habibi3

Big station, many cars standing on the parking lot, few cars going. People going either to Berlin or North, truck drivers either somewhere local or in pairs (so no place for another person). After two hours of standing with a sign at the exit I went back to talk to people in front of the restaurant. One person who earlier said is not going my direction approached me saying they used to hitchhike and it's good if I move to am Fichtenplan, so I went with them (they were going to the airport to pick someone up)―Martynan

Reasonable traffic, many cars going to Berlin airport or somewhere north but within 20 min I got a ride direction Poland with people going back to Frankfurt Oder after checking out a flat in Berlin.―Martynan
