Stood in from of some houses. Pretty bad. Best you can hope for is a driver that understands they have to go on the parallel road at the next turn and go bad to you. Or like my driver, see you when they go the wrong way, and remember you when they drive the other way.

Many different options to try here, but not very quick (direction Münster). You can try talking to people at the Aral service station, but many of them will be local traffic. Also, the Dutch cars all seemed pretty senseless, as the only reason for them to go there was for cheap gas, after which they would drive back to The Netherlands.

I eventually got a ride to Münster after about 1,5 hours standing next to the B67 close to the traffic lights (not at the exit/onramp, but the crossing of Bocholter Strasse/Im Geer). People are driving slowly because of the lights and there is a reasonably sized hard shoulder for them to stop on. All in all a pretty decent spot, but with a lot of local traffic.

A lay-by for the cars to stop. Lots of local traffic, only managed to get a ride to nearby Bocholt while trying to go to NL.

Wide highway entry, so plenty space for drivers to stop. Not the busiest place but most people can at least take you to raststätte Hünxe.

a lot of germans here (at least on Saturday, when I was here) that can take you to the German highway. There's a gas station where you can directly ask people, but my sign was enough to get picked up within minutes

Camping store Obelink.
There is no place to stand on the side going to Aalten/Doetinchem but I still had a ride in 3 min by standing on the paralel road with a sign.

If the store is open it should be quite easy getting a ride to Doetinchem, or Germany by asking at the parking.

I use this spot a lot with mixed results. If it's to busy people don't stop because the entry isn't very wide. In this case don't be to picky and take the first ride you get to Isselburg (10km further). This entry is much wider, but with less trafic.
