Amazing spot to go east! We met two guys there who wanted to go to Cluj, they were gone within 20 minutes. Then we waited for another 20 and had a direct ride to Oradea―princessescharming

Busy Petrol station, but no one was going towards Romania. Many people to Budapest though. We ended up going to the other side of the roundabout which seems to be very good if you want to go east―princessescharming

We stood in front of the bus station, there is enough space to stop and the cars don't go super fast. Took us 15 minutes to get a ride to the next town on our way to romania―princessescharming

I hitched many times to Romania from here, it is no better spot around every car to Romania passes by, as I remember the most time I waited was around 1 h, even at night.―Acatius

Because I can not edit the map I write my experience here. I got a direct car to Győr from here ( I could go futher to Austria because the driver went there). I admit I had lucky because on Sunday morning the petrol station is not busy, on Sunday afternoon a lot of car step by. You have to go to the second Mol station in the front of Máló Panzió, the to the one by the road circle.―Anonymous

Place right after roundabout. There is not to much space to stop, but the traffic is quite low. Use it only if you really need. Usually highway will be better option.―Anonymous

Here is the place to stand for a car going to Oradea (Romania). In warm times of the year, there is enough room for a car to pull over (but not a truck). In winter, snow may be heaped up on the side of the road, and then there is nowhere for a car to pull over.―Anonymous

There was a line of trucks at night till here. My ride has to turn back and stay all night (truck thing). I have waited and 2 times police came and checked my ID and ask questions. Then, I HH for 30 min to find someone going to Oredea.―Anonymous

Like everywhere, hitchhiking depends on several factors. After 1,5h nobody stopped, cars are quite fast there, even there is a lane for right turning cars into Berrettyoufalu, so cars can stop there. Finally I started walking along the street, quite dangerous, but then a car stopped and picked me up.―Anonymous

Small bay to park - so we should be very good viewed. I get from here to Oradea. When I stayed in roundabout for 1h I resigned from it i got here - after almost 30 minutes I catched one (there is not plenty of cars from Romania here, so I must waited longer).―Anonymous

Such a miracle spot - we were convinced that we would catch somebody at the spot before us at the same road but apparently the road has changed so much that there was no place to stop. We just kept walking forward and found this temporary stop for truck drivers - it isn't huge but allows for some braking. We held the sign for less than 20 seconds we got a ride from a Romanian gentleman who got us straight to Cluj Napoca.―Adrian
