Good spot. Slow traffic because of the town and it is a bus stop. Stood first with a thumb noone stopped and then we made a sogn beuis and got a ride instantly. But the ride wanted money afterwards so it was a bit akward but we couldnt pay.... So always say Fara bani(no money) when entering the car in romania. Also make a sign―kiausiniuvagis

Not really agood gas station. Mostly local low traffic. Probably would recommend just stading with a sogn at the roundabout before because there is plenty of space to stop and everyone is going that direction. Yeah also big recommendation is to have a sign in romania. People prefer that. And always say Fara bani?(No money?) Because they might ask for money after―kiausiniuvagis

It felt like a good spot going southeast but it felt the traffic was mostly local. Noone was stopping even tho we had space to stop and speed not high because of the roundabout. Evetually somebody took us to the next gas station.―kiausiniuvagis

Shit gas station with almost no traffic. And all the traffic that is there is going to debrecen or surrounding towns. We were trying to go to Oradea and noone was going there until one van picked us up. But some people told us that there is more romanian traffic on the gas station before. But that traffic might just go to Satu Mare instead. But probably i would recommend trying one gas station before maybe.―kiausiniuvagis

I don't know how the people on the places above managed to get a ride, but this place is way better, spu can easily catch the people going the long distances, good place for cars to stop. The guy who took us was very friendly and even invited us to a restaurant.―Hesnii

I was immediately picked up by a lovely Hungarian lady from Cluj, she offered to house me and took me to the Hungarian celebration of világítás, as well as setting me up with a bunch of people who helped me a lot during my travels across Transylvania―Arphile

Got dropped off there on my way to Oradea, decided to keep hitchhiking into the city and I was picked up pretty much immediately. Huge runoff so cars can stop easily―Arphile

Cars are going a bit fast but they have to slow down for the traffic lights anyway, good for going north in direction Oradea―Arphile

The traffic is not really great, as most of cars go through border to the north of Oradea. I see myself as lucky to travel that far from here.―C0rv4x

Lots of locals not going further also a lot of local hitchhikers but drivers want money but I got lucky and met a nice local and they couldn’t drive me so they paid for my bus so not exactly hitchhiking but I got free transportation from having my thumb out hahaOver all don’t get stuck here

Amazing spot, there was enough space to stop and everyone going to Beius/Stei/Deva is going your way. There was construction works though so maybe the space to stop doesn't stay long. If you're getting here from town, you can take the bus 511 at least one stop longer than Google maps is proposing, the bus passed by us after we got off and started walking which was a bit annoying.―princessescharming

Amazing spot to go east! We met two guys there who wanted to go to Cluj, they were gone within 20 minutes. Then we waited for another 20 and had a direct ride to Oradea―princessescharming

Nice spot. Lots of trucks which are going slow because of the border and everybody waves at you at least. Guy took me to Bratislava―Anonymous

I didn't find this spot very attractive for the "adventurous" hitchhiker. At all hours of the day, there exists a multitude of local hitchhikers trying to get a lift any (some 5km, some 50km) distance, and they all have money ready for the driver. Most of these people are locals coming or going to work or women with shopping bags. No cars stopped for me when I had a sign out .... and it seems that there are "organized" rides in some sketchy manner to get a few extra bucks for illegal "taxis." I'd avoid this spot. It's better to take a bus to the farthest "Metro Cash and Carry" market and hitch from there.―Incogitatus

I used this spot many times, once I was really luck, getting a ride on Sunday night around 23:00. There disadvantage is that there are some people offering rides for money, don't accept them.―Krisztian
