not a lot of space for cars to stop but it should b! possible on the grass. we were two male passing ppl and didn't get a ride after 30 mins, tried a little bit further down the road where there's a better spot to pull over but the cars are going faster, but no luck either. gave up after one hour.―qrvlt

Went the whole way from the lake to Ennis in the morning on a weekday and I changed cars twice but never had to wait more than a few seconds. In this whole region hitchhiking is really culturally integrated, amazing friendly people.―Anonymous
