We were 2 guys, we wanted to get to Palermo. First car stoped after 1 hour.The spot seems perfect. There are a lot of cars, they go slowly and they can see you from distance. But italians are not into taking hitchhikers, so our driver was a Pole (polish men).

The next roundabout is already "highway" so i got kicked out by carabinieri to this one. Lot of traffic but no ride to Santa Agata/ Capo d'Orlando. Hard to find a way out at night, I finally put a tent under the parking on the right looking from the billing gates. Tried 3h evening + 1morning.―fanky
