I used this spot to go east towards Pisa, Florence, etc. Get here by taking the 17 bus and getting off at EUROPA 11/AUTOSTRADA. There's a gas station, but since it was after 7pm and only the 24 hr self service was open I just stood on the ramp going up with a sign for E80 Est...someone stopped after 30 minutes only going to Repallo, but they brought me to the first service station. Probably it would be easier in day time, but since I am only one girl no one was scared of me.―Anonymous

With almost no space for cars to stop not very good place to hitchhike, but all cars who pass around goes to autostrada A12. There is a toll station 30m further, it is legal to hitchhike in front of it (illegal is to hitchhike behind toll stations)―Anonymous
