To Rezekne,to Russia. A lot of cars, but not a lot of place to stop. If nobody stops in 20 min, change position. In 4-5 km ther is a railway crossroad - try there..:)

Get here with a bus from Daugavpils bus station and use thse sigh LT or even PL. I always get ride in less than 2 minutes (depends on traffic)

take a minibus to lociki, get off when you see a lonely traffic light (bus stop is called "svetafor"). should get both city and transit traffic. can be a bit windy.

For 2026 update, less trucks as it used to be, but there's still quite some of them, almost all of them will be going to Russia, usually to Zilupe border so try to talk with the drivers and most likely they'll get you to Daugavpils or Rezekne ringroads or if u head further east (Ludza or Russia) you can go with them all the way
