Iconic hitchhiking spot. A lot of place to stop for the car, but the speed of cars ir fast, so use you sign. Easy rides to Klaipeda, but it's possible to get a car to Riga as well.―estasbien

Drivers see you from far away, even though the speed of cars is high. You need a sign and reflectors, to be able to hitchhike a car fast. I got a lift to Kaunas in less than 15 min.―estasbien

Heading towards Poland with sign PL. Good place with decent amount of cars but mostly local traffic so you might have to wait a while but a car should stop eventually. The person who picked me up was going to Lublin. I ended up leaving him at Suwalki.―Arcturus

Found a small truck going to Katowice within 15min. Lots of local traffic as well so just need to be a bit patient. Around 9:30am on a Saturday morning, couple with sign and thumb.Walked here from bus stop before the junction, easy and safe 15min walk not on the highway.
