If you are hitchhiking to Vilnius from Marijampole and you only get lift to Prienai. This is a good place to be dropped. You can almost speak to the drivers when the traffic slows down because of those turning left. You are likely to go only to Birzai from here as many cars go locally. That's why it's not excellent.―Anonymous

most probably you may get a car coming from Birstonasin 15 minutes 3 cars stopped for me but all of them only went Prienai (7 kms), i decided to take the third already

A nice bus stop to go north towards Kaunas or Kaisiadorys. Cars go fairly slowly when exiting roundabout. Hitched here twice, didn't have a problem (there were three of us once).―Anonymous

Towards the villages, mainly for Paduoblis and Naravai, low amount of cars but people are super friendly around here willing to drop you where you need to go, a car will pass during the day time around every 5-8 minutes, good enough and first or second one will pick you up, you can hitch anywhere on this road, low speeds―estohiker
