Good spot to Riga. There is a roundabout to Jnosikis or Riga. in direction to Riga there also is a Gas station, Car are going slowly going out the roundabout. Lot of space to stop. And just 95 km to Riga.―Libertad Viajera

There was no petrol station when I was there, but there is still space to stop next to the road. The traffic is sorted out so that almost all the cars are going to Lithuania. There was not a lot of traffic when I was there, but I got a lift after 20 minutes to joniskis―Anonymous

My last ride let me out at this petrol station since he couldn't take me any further. So I don't know if it's easy to reach by foot, but I just asked drivers here and the first person took me directly to the hill of crosses :) so if you end up here I would just recommend asking the drivers, I don't think just standing there with a sign is effective..If you start hitchhiking from joniskis I don't think this spot is ideal (there are probably others that make way more sense) but if you get out here it's quite easy to find the next ride :)
