Small gas station. Going to Lithuania, the station is right after a curve so drivers dont see it that good. We were in pair, one hitchhiked on the entry to the station and the other at the exit. Sign "LT" - Lithuania. Got a ride past the border to the closest town.―Tobiacha

Whilst I think this is a very nice alternative road this border post itself is quite awful for hitchhiking, I guess cars get carried away by border guards, who don't mind you hitching at all, wait times towards further Poland are 30+ minutes and if you are picky with your rides you may end up with hours before a car going further in would stop, if any―estohiker
