Big service station 15 kilometers before the 'afsluitdijk', the main road to Leeuwarden/ Groningen and further to Bremen & Hamburg.

complete asses the fokes at the Shell.
Not willing to help , when you are trying to ask people they are using the intercom to ask you to go away.
When you dont they call the police.

Next to the highway its a bit better to use the thumb but still not that good.

Had no troubles with Shell or cops here. People mostly going south towards Amsterdam or Den Haag. To go north I had to go 3km up the N9 to the BP
