The Highway got rebuilt recently and the cars are going very fast. We even had a sighn but had to wait for two days. It is better if you walk further out of the driveway.

Perfect spot, everything is great and you will not stay there for long time. For me it was 2nd car.

Mostly local traffic, but there are also Albanian cars, aim for them.

This spot is good enough, I didn't feel like I needed to go to next station. There is great visibility from the road and a lot of place to stop - there are two lanes changing to one lane and additional lane from the station. There is local traffic mostly, so it needs some patience but after 30min I got a ride to Ohrid.

Walked along the street not too many cars passed that’s why it took so long, at least I guess :)

Difficult road as there's not many spots for the cars to stop. I waited near the petrol station. Got picked up by a truck driver, eventually he asked me for oral sex and when I refused he dropped me at a random petrol station near resen. Be careful

We took the minibus from Ohrid to Struga told them to stop in Podmolge (1eur person) then walked to the highway till the spot. A Macedonia couple a police men and a military women took us to Kićevo. From there we got a ride with a truck driver to Skopje.

One of the first cars I stopped took me directly to Elbasan (I wanted to go there) but he was continuing to Tirana, so if thats your destination this spot might work as well. A lot of space for cars to stop!

It looked like a nice spot, a lot of place to stop for cars right after the roundabout, traffic goes slow. Nobody wanted to pick me up for a while, but after some time of waiting, a very open-minded couple picked me up and drove me all the way to Bitola, offered place to sleep and introduced me to their friends!

Guys! It's the most picturesque view you can get in Albania! I walked here for 30 minutes and it was truly worth it!

This gas station is abandoned, so you can do urban exploring and it has a lot of place to stop with slow traffic.

Got a ride to Macedonia by very easily.

Less than 2 minutes after being by the motorway under construction a truck from Albania stopped and drove me directly to the entrance of Sköpje where I was dropped off before the highway ramp but after a little walk I found a bus to go to the center.

There were lots of cars but none of them stopped. Then I had a short drive to the intersection of the road going to Struga and the one to Sköpje. I was dropped off by the motorway under construction.

There I barely waited 10 seconds and I didn't even have time to raise my inch by the time a car stopped for my last kilometers to Ohrid.

Not so many cars were coming and taxis were standing at the intersection offering a ride for 20€. I walked along the road to be as far as I can from the taxis where I think cars don't want to stop as a respect for them. After that I only waited view minutes and was dropped off in Struga. The border was really easy to cross, I even stayed in the cars.

I went to Ohrid from Pogradec. I choosed not to go the way through Saint Naum Monastery, where there is less traffic.
Several cars and buses came but they mainly showed me where the buses are. Then I was dropped off at the intersection between the road to Tirana and the one to Ohrid.
