Gas station 20km from the border, there are many cars here and you can hh on the highway. Mostly MK and SRB tourists, very friendly and will stop to talk even if they don't have a place for you.―Anonymous

we were lucky, because the first car stopped. if you go to the Bulgarian border, start hitchhiking before 7am, because the guys working there are taking the hh-ers, and their shift starts at 8am. enjoy the view! (o:―Anonymous
