Lot of truck drivers. Good for goteborg, helsingborg, trelleborg, ystad or other cities in sweden. Just ask around lot of polish and ukrainian drivers.Keep in mind that lot of drivers is waiting for the papers, it can take 10,20 minutes or 5 hour or like mine drive who took me 4 days but happy for me i was waiting around an hour

Great visilibity and a lot place for cars to stop even for trucks. Great spot for oslo and sweden. Truck driver took me to the border.Keep in mind that in this area theres very few cars so you can wait a while but theres no other option:)

I asked maybe ten to fifteen cars in the space of ten minutes and got a ride all the way to Gothenburg. Actually all the way to the door where I was going to stay for the night! It was dark, at around 5 or 6 pm in november. A lot of friendly drivers! Most of them going north this night though! Just keep asking. I would absolutely use this place again!―Amarant

Very close to the border there is a rest stop for trucks. From there you could find a good ride. Never tried personally, though.―Anonymous

Many many truck drivers stopping here for customs. Possible to get a lift long distances (even Germany, Eastern europe). But beware as drivers are told by the customs office they are only alloud one passenger. Groups will have to split.―Anonymous

Great spot to head North to Norway. All of the traffic is Norwegians going to the cheaper swedish shop just across the border to buy groceries and cigarettes. Stock up on food here too as is half the price of Norway.―Anonymous

Not an optimal spot if you are trying to go south. Good trafic but most of it local i guess. Aso right before a roundabout. Asked a driver with a swedish license plate who pulled in to get gas but he was going north. I finally got picked up by a girl wo had some spare time and drove me to the border bc she wanted to, she was not going there . Otherwise i guess i would have stood there quite a bit longer. Maybe the on-ramp to the highway would have worked better.**for reference: hiked on a monday, i am a white woman in my mid-20ies**
