Great spot to head towards Oslo! There's not much space for drivers to pull over, but it's wide enough for them to pull to the side and stop. It's also beneficial that there is a roundabout and drivers go slower and can take their time to think about picking you up when they see you.―Passports

Way too fast from the highway, not very visible though a good place to stop. Had to buy a truck driver a drink to get a ride to someplace better―Bigdeidiot

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny and warm day. Going to Otta.A very good spot. I wasn't standing at the exit of petro station, but by the road joining the highway (close to the bridge). There was enough shoulder for cars to stop. If you moved passed the bridge, maybe the cars from the main highway could stop for you. I didn't do it, coz were I was standing it was illegal enough.
Cars go slowly and you'd be visible nicely.
In 15 minutes 3 cars stopped for me. The first two were going very short distances without good spots, so I thanked them. And I jumped into the 3rd one which was going far enough.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny and warm day. Going to Otta. Not too good spot. But I guess there are not many better ones in Oslo. You can't really catch cars on the highway. No place to stop and they go too fast. So you'd be left only with the cars leaving the petrol station. But the traffic isn't that small. I was wearing a t-shirt with a big Polish emblem. A Polish guy stopped to talk to me, saying that he doesn't go too far. I asked him to take me 15 kms up north, to another petrol station, which he did and the other place was much better.
I'm not sure how long I'd have to wait if I didn't have the Polish t-shirt.

I went into Kløfta (after standing at the on-ramp for a while) and a truck came by (from a industrial zone). Nice trip!―Anonymous

A could place, but not what I wanted (as I was going north). I waited a minute or so and then the first guy stopped and wanted to give me a ride (.. but to Stockholm). 5 minutes after the same happened. So - if you want to go to Sweden or even Stockholm, this is an excellent spot―Anonymous

This is a highly frequented gas station towards Oslo. If you hitched a ride which is not going directly to Oslo you might tell him to let you out at the Kløfta gas station. I got a ride after one minute at 10 p.m. in the dark.―Anonymous

Traffic coming from petrol station and slip road where they can pull into the station if they want. The spot did its job under an hour. Heading north.―Jools

this map might be old, because there is a slip-road to the E6 highway that goes north. so go there and a car will stop in no time.―Anonymous

Don't recommend this spot. Head up 200m to Skedsmokorset Shell Gas station, which is a perfect spot, just be patient.―denwer
