Solo female, for me it worked well. Lots of space to stop on the side, a lot of truck drivers going through, and cars coming from the KFC or gas station. Had a sign Berlin, as I wanted to go through Cottbus.―friki

Got VERY lucky with a ride from hitchhikers who know how difficult it can get in places like this. Would not recommend. Only local traffic going to the gas station, and not many going into the highway direction DE anyways. Ended up hitching at the slip road, with almost no place to stop for the cars.―friki

Had no luck on the shoulder leading up the exit. Came here, absolutely horrendous spot, but Polish people really don't care. Got a ride to Boleslawiec. Was a summer evening so traffic was low, which might have actually helped.I recommend asking around before coming here though.

I think it's a good spot, but not in weekends. There is a cafe, restaurant and shops at this station. I stand at the entrance to the station and caught a ride from the highway.―Anonymous

It's a dangerous place. Drivers are going too fast. If you would like to get a ride to Berlin you should go fast straight A18 (it's a way to Berlin) through crossroad. There is a nice gas station for 2 kilometers.―Anonymous
