Solo female, for me it worked well. Lots of space to stop on the side, a lot of truck drivers going through, and cars coming from the KFC or gas station. Had a sign Berlin, as I wanted to go through Cottbus.―friki

Got VERY lucky with a ride from hitchhikers who know how difficult it can get in places like this. Would not recommend. Only local traffic going to the gas station, and not many going into the highway direction DE anyways. Ended up hitching at the slip road, with almost no place to stop for the cars.―friki

Great petrol station, in fact two of them, lot of place to sleep (just in case) KFC and planty of other food stuff. Really easy to catch someone going west.―Raddovsky
