If you are at MOP III Jaworzno Zastawie heading east or south, I recommend staying there because there is less traffic. There isn't much traffic, but drivers tend to go far. I was trying to get to the A1 towards Czechia, and the first car with Czech plates picked me up.

A good spot, not great. If you’re coming from Krakow, hitching at MOP Aleksandrowice, I would recommend you continue hitching there. The flow of traffic here is much lower; a steady trickle rather than the gushing flow of Aleksandrowice. Still got a ride in less than an hour more than half the distance to Berlin, all the same.

Great spot, the traffic is constant, I hardly had time to even make my sign, the cars and trucks passing without pause. I had an offer to near Katowice within five minutes and took the second offer ten minutes later when they said they’d take me to the next big gas station. I was on my way to Berlin and I would say that this was the better spot than where they took me (Miejsce Obsługi Podróżnych Wirek).

I took the city bus from Krakow, there is indeed a fence you have to jump. In the forest to the right of the gate (facing it) you can do so unseen. There’s a spot with a cement post that makes it a bit easier, and I took out my wrench and undid the top screws securing the fence to the post there, making it even easier. Lots of holes that have clearly been repaired, check to see if there’s a new one.

Was here after a lunch so already quite a few trucks were stopping for a day. And maybe here its better to ask just cars because there is quite a few. But still half of them goes to Katowice area. But eventually I got a guy to Warsaw and I think its better to not accept anything closer. Try to get at least past Czestochowa.

Not a lot of traffic but normal amount. Tho half of it goes to Ostrava. But eventually got a truck which was going to Katowice so asked to drop off at the gas station in Poland.

Two people asking to be brought to A1, most people that would answer us said they were going into gliwice
We were about to give up when a guy going to Bytom took us to A1. I wouldnt recommend, there's probably better spots where you dont get so stuck

Pretty good spot, a lot of people going south. not much traffic into chechia itself, but you can get closer to the border.

One of the best places to hitchhike near Katowice. We planned to go in the direction of Ostrava in the further Budapest and we managed to catch the driver to Vienna. Overall, a great place to catch a foot in the direction of Wroclaw, Berlin, Vienna. It is worth going to the parking lot and asking people where they are going - a lot of individual drivers and trucks.

I don't know why, but for a very long time people didn't want to stop - we headed towards Rybnik -> Ostrava

If you got here, just draw a sign with pictogram of a gas station and try to get to the next petrol station which is 25 km away on A1

We were a group of 6 people, first car took 4 person after around 30 minutes and then after around 20 minutes the rest already got a car. We are on the way to austria but most of the people go here to krakow and we got one to Rybnik city
