Work great, only downside is that if you want to get here from the city than you have to climb over the fence, the best is to do this in forest as in other case (like mine) you will likely be reprimanded and if you are unlucky staff might call the police (I was lucky and they didn't, only said to don't do it again)―Autostopeks

During the night not so many cars/trucks, but still enough to catch a Ukrainian truck and sleep in his bed while he drove me to Krakow, where I wanted to stop. Others I asked were heading just to Wroclaw direction.―anettlee17

Got quite lucky, but managed to get a hike to Kato in a few minutes. There's a place to stop for cars and you can easily get here by public transport.―JuanPabloSegundo

Toll booths on motorway A4 (E40) direction Katowice, Wroclaw, Germany. You can get nearby by bus 208, 292 or local train to Port Lotniczy (Airport).―Anonymous

Used http://krakow.jakdojade.pl/ to find a bus from Kraków city to stop BALICE - INSTYTUT and there is entry to toll gates through gate, guards didn't bother me. Be alert while riding a bus because you need to press a button for bus to stop and in my bus there was no info about the current stop!―Szymon

We had a Katowice sign but we got a ride straight to near Wroclaw maybe in two minutes. A walk from the airport was a bit exhausting because the temperature was about 35°C―Pietari

It's good to add that this spot is very close to the police station, but waiting time is so short, that they probably wouldn't notice you―Anonymous

waited on regular tuesday morning at 7AM 20...30minutes to catch a ride somewhere next to Oppole, we had a sign saying "Wroclaw Dresden". we were 2guys, so seems to be a good place. i guess police won't make problems, because cars can stop legal (parking area) and it's noit dangerous to stop there. so maybe police got better things to do than bother hitch hiker with stupid things―Anonymous

Not a best place to hitchhike in the middle of the night (2 AM). Still got a car to Krakow (center-ish).―M&m

I came there (alone girl) on early Sunday afternoon (during long weekend in Poland) and asked first of many passenger cars doing a break there, they agreed to picked me up to the lastgas station before exit to A1 that I needed. Three Polish guys travelled to Hamburg so I could go there with them (unfortunatelly I had no time for the trip ;-)―Wiola
