on roundabout there is a tiny extra place to stop, but it's not comfortable. don't go here.

the further you go north from the town, the better the spot for the drivers is and you also collect cars that go from the sides. my opinion: don't wait here, start going north and put thumb up at each turn.

Work great, only downside is that if you want to get here from the city than you have to climb over the fence, the best is to do this in forest as in other case (like mine) you will likely be reprimanded and if you are unlucky staff might call the police (I was lucky and they didn't, only said to don't do it again)

You can do everything there. Huge gas station where you can ask truck drivers, really popular place amongst them, or you can stand by the road, you are seen very well, and there is plenty of space to stop.

Petrol station. First car we asked took us (boy&girl) to Krakow. It was in the evening, already dark. It should not be a problem to find someone going in direction Myslenice (south from Krakow) or Tarnow (east from Krakow).

Parking after the toll booths. Tried to hitch on the highway before the highway sign (tons of room to pull over), but police kicked me back to the parking. Not a huge amount of cars/trucks, but you should get a ride soon enough.

The relatively short stretch at the entrance to the road. It should stand with a large sign with the name of the city, because the cars are at a high speed. Direction: Lodz, Warsaw
