MOP Service station exit to the motorway, I waited near the exit, there is really good visibility, even at night there are 2 lampposts nearby to stand under. Had a sign for WAWA, but I'm sure just your thumb should do the trick as well if you're trying to get anywhere along the motorway 👍―Passports

Maybe I just got lucky, but this is a great spot towards Łódź and presumably Poznań. Cars go slowly, stop for the traffic lights, can clearly see you, and there is a good place to stop. But I would really advise having a sign, because people go in many directions.―martih

A lot of traffic here.In my opinion better spot than on the highway ramp. Cars have to stop for the red light. Also the driver can turn into the paraller road next to the stores to safely get on.

Direction Poznan. There's a bus stop behind junction with traffic lights on national road 5 (E261). You can get here by trams 1, 7, 15 to Marino (last stop).―Anonymous

Also a good place. You can get there with bus "D" to the last stop. A big verge there and drivers see you from a long distance. Good for long journeys.―Anonymous

UPDATE: a new ringroad has been built (unfortunately it still hasn't been put on Google Maps, switch to Open Street map to see it). So, if you want to catch the traffic that goes through Wrocław from the south, you need to find another spot 300-400 metres north from this one.―Anonymous
