Waited quite a long time in hot weather with a sign. Was trying to get to Brno, but settled for a village just across the Czech border. Many CZ cars and trucks passed without stopping. In principle, it’s a great setup with room to stop before and after the station as well as plenty of internal traffic. In practice, it took me a long time.―daniellorell

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Wroclaw to Brno (successful).I was dropped here by the previous driver. An entrance to a vegetable shop. Just enough space for a car to stop. No shade. Good visibility. Quite busy traffic.
I got very lucky. After 5 minutes a couple of Ukrainian guys took me to Kłodzko.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Wroclaw to Brno (successful).I got dropped in the centre of Łagiewniki. And started to walk south looking for a spot to hitchhike. After 30 minutes I've found that beauty. Before there was absolutely nothing.
Loads of space to stop. Great visibility. No shade.
But still I had to wait 35 minutes to get 30-kilometers ride.
