One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Brasov to the mountain pass 30 kms away from here.It wasn't a very good spot. Very little space to stop. There were much better spots a few kms before. So no need to get so far from Brasov. I just needed to buy some food supplies in Lidl for my multi day hike. That's why I ended up here.
No shade. Cars were going slowly after the roundabout. But were coming from around the corner so they were seeing my in the last moment. Which means a short time for the decision. Slow traffic.
I didn't have much hope with this place. But to my surprise after 15 minutes a lorry (!!!) stopped just in the middle of the road (nowhere to pull over) and I got a ride to my destination.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from here to Brasov. It was late evening but still sunny, about 1,5 hours before sunset.I think it's a great place at certain days of a week. And other days it's very quiet.
I was finishing my mountain hike here. And I walked for hours along gravel road in the forest. No cars whatsoever. Since it was Saturday not even lumberjacks driving there. But when I reached that cluster of hotels and resorts and a tarmac roads my situation changed drastically. Busy place with loads of people. Like I mentioned it was Saturday, so loads of local holiday makers were going home after a nice day out. After 2 minutes walk I thumbed the first car coming, which stopped and took me to Brasov.
Monday till Friday I think it's a different situation than the weekends. Some traffic already in the forest road , but much quieter in the tarmac part (fewer tourists).

Good space to stop cars going somewhat slow because of roundabout was Solomon’s for Cluj got driven to Sighisoara I walked to the spot which was a pain but there are busses to the spot.―Xavybaby

You can get there easily by a bus, but the traffic is fast and cars have to make a steep stop to catch so maybe there are better places more near Brașov to get north.―matt
