Waited 15min, but only got to the next town. There is place to stop here though, so think there are better chances of getting a bit further. In the end it became a day with many shorter rides of 20-40km. Single male with sign for Târgu Mures.―Merl

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from the lake Uzului to Miercurea Ciuc (successful).I got dropped here by a previous driver. It was the middle of a village but the place looked ok. A huge bay to pull over. Good visibility. No shade. Very quiet traffic.
That day the hitchhiking was going really slowly. I was getting only 10-20 kms rides. Each time waiting 30-45 minutes. It was getting late and very few cars were passing by. So, I was getting sure I'll not make it that day to Miercurea Ciuc.
But after 45 minutes of waiting a kind driver stopped and took me all the reminding 50 kms to Miercurea Ciuc.
