One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a cloudy day. On my way from Iaşi to Suceava. In the end successful, but not this spot.The city didn't want to finish. Before I saw a couple of places, but there were too urban for me, so I kept walking until here. It's a wide entry into a field road, enough space to stop. A bit of bushes before, but not blocking visibility. The cars go fast. The traffic is busy. The road a few hundred metres before goes from double lane into a single one.
This place was a proof for me that picking a spot has a crucial meaning if you get a ride or not. After one hour when nobody stopped I moved a few hundred metres back towards the Iaşi to a spot which before I considered too urban and there I got a ride after 20 minutes. You can go as well a bit more west. When in a car I saw a good spot after a roundabout. But this spot is NO use. To be avoided. I don't know what is wrong with this spot, but it doesn't work.
