I think it's a very good place to hitchhike, I've done it here once but I was staying right before the crossroad with "Strada Telecabinei" so cars would have enough space to stop without blocking the road. Got a ride to Bucharest in less than 5 minutes.―Anonymous

In front of the Sinaia train station, there\\'s a quite large parking area where people can stop pick you up.It is more effective if you want to go to Bucharest than if you want to go to Brasov.

The gas station was a nice place to chat to people coming back from the mountains. Unclear how difficult it would be for cars to stop heading down the slope toward the gas station.―Arnulle
