One male 40+, one big backpack, a cloudy afternoon. On my way from Valea Drăganului to Crucișor, about 180 kms (successful).A really good spot. A very big gravel bay. A bus stopped there, even though there were no signs it was a bus stop. A superb good visibility. No shade.
After 10 minutes a guy stopped and he picked me up. He was going to Satu Mare. At least that's what he thought. Coz he finished 10 kms before that city. And he dropped me in a very uncomfortable place.

One male 40+, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Valea Drăganului to Crucișor, about 180 kms (successful).First sunny then cloudy.
A really decent place. I got dropped at the village centre and I walked 600 m to this spot. It's near the end of the village sign. The is a big gravel bay. Good visibility. A tiny shade from the road sign. After 10 minutes I got a ride to the main road. The guy was kind enough to drop me at the end of a village, so I didn't have to walk.

I was dropped in the centre of the village and I walk to the end if it. There was a bit of space to pull over (entrances to the properties). Good visibility. No shade. Not much traffic.
The first car stopped after a minute, but it didn't go my way. 35 minutes later stopped another and it took me to the next village.

One male 40+, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Valea Drăganului to Crucișor, about 180 kms (successful).OK spot. There is a little gravel bay to pull over. There is a curve before, but cars have enough time to see you. No shade.
I got a ride in less than a minute of waiting there. But I was also hitchhiking a few minutes before while I was walking to that spot.

From Zalau to Satu Mare. Somebody left my in front of train station, bat there was a lot of ppl doing local hitchhiking so I preferred to move from there to here, When after 3 min, a got a car. Is was raining and I was alone. Even if is straight, cars, have plenty of space for pull over the car.―Anonymous
