Lots of trucks and local traffic, very quick to get to next village of Shid (should have waited for a longer ride).

Similar experience, not too busy, mostly trucks, there is water and a abandoned hotel good for sleeping also a supermarket near. A Serbian truck driver took me to the border at Shid (apparently they try to avoid the border at the highway due to traffic)

Guys!! Never accept a ride by a truck driver from Croatia, it will have to queue due to control! I Had to walk 5 kms and then people are not willing to accept you in front of policemens

Got to the border at around 7pm with a truck driver and had to get out due to a 2 km queue of trucks who couldn't pass. Almost eaten alive by swarms of giant mosquitoes. Take care! Got a ride to Belgrade on the Serbia side after about 20 mins.

I got to the border at night, and decided to sleep there (not very comfortable). Then the next morning (a Tuesday) woke up about 5 and asked truck drivers for a lift to Belgrade. The very first one asked drove me all the way to Sofia - brilliant spot!

Starting point on the Croatia-Serbia border if heading into Serbia from Croatia. Many many trucks stop here, there are shops that service them and other drivers. A very good spot to get a lift especially with trucks.

Had to walk across the border and got a strange look from the officer but it all went fine. After the border, I stood where all the lanes connect into one with a big sign and it took maybe 5 Minutes, till someone picked me up and took me all the way to Belgrad.

Quiet but a pretty spot. Not too much room to stop but still enough, not a problem with low traffic too. Took us quite some time to get a ride towards Vukovar but it was the day after xmas so that might've explained it.

This man drove me to the border (I waited for him and hitchhiked while he was at the border control), no one before him wanted to stop for me, so I don't know how good the place is
