on the 25th of December it was totally abandoned, 1 car / 10 minutes. So I decided to walk to the VERY end of this place and stand on the border of the motorway, where cars are passing fast but... I had to survive somehow the -5C degrees, right?! :D I got a ride after standing on the edge in 2 minutes, by a guy coming from Kosovo. Good luck everybody!

Toll booth just before Novi Sad. Perfect for a ride towards Belgrade. If police hassles you and pretends you're not allowed to stand there, just say you didn't know that and move 100m forwards or backwards, whatever they tell you...

I was heading north to the border and got a ride after 5 mins. This gas station is quite big, has food and free Wi-Fi.

Not many traffic! Many cars are going to Novi sad, and Serbia are not very friendly sometimes! But in the end one guy from Turkey took me to Belgrade even when didn't go there.... you need to talk to the people in the gas station for SURE, they can think that you are immigrant! Make a sing too ! It helps !

Good spot, lot of place to stop, slow speeds and decent traffic. You can take busses from the center of Novi Sad to here or walk.

We were lucky. Lots of truck drivers going. No place to hide from sun and almost no place to stop for the car. But luckily serbians don't care.
