I think it was this spot where the road that runs parallel to the motorway past Novi Sad (for cars coming in and out of the city) and the normal motorway join up again. Hitched from under the bridge where cars come on the the road and got a lift all the way to Budapest.―Nathholf

i went to the petrol station 5km north of Novi Sad on the highway. there were many drivers to vienna (cause of workers-migration on sunday), but it was quite difficult to find a place in a car. often full small buses. took 1,5...2hours to get a lift to vienna.
