I think this is quite a good spot to get out of belgrade north. Held a novi sad sign and got a ride like in 30 mins. Ofc there is two lanes so a lot of times trucks are blocking for cars to stop but there is no space on ramp to stop and here cars go slowly and there is plenty space to stop for people going up the highway.

Dont think its a good spot to wait. Cars just go too fast. And I was in the morning waiying so there was a lot of traffic on this street so multiple times I got blocked by thevtruck going out. I think is much better to move a bit closer to the city where the traffic lights are

I waited 5 minutes and had already two cars stopping for me without a sign lol. One was going to Leskovac but I checked is best to stop at gas station before Nis. I took bus 70 to go there. This is basically a nice little hike of 20mn and fence was open to pass through. I am a 27M with moustache and nice hat, if it helps.

Low traffic gas station and cars are often full but almost all of them go to Serbia and to Belgrade. You can find a car that is not full. Ask around with Serbian words to be polite and don't use a board. I had actually made some old Serbian friends that wanted to help me find an empty car lol. Thanks Milica and Zora!

Bit long but I guess that’s what you get when thumbing in Serbia, got a ride to Vršac after an hour

Probably better to ask but I stood with a sign at the exit. One hour without success, then I took a break at the McDonald’s and a guy picked me up right after to Belgrade, where public transport is free

I used bus stop, because it was raining. A lot of traffic there, but the right lane is for turning right, so drivers need to change lanes to stop for you. A lot of cars going to airport or to Novi Sad highway. With sign Cacak/Valjevo I only took a ride to Obrenovac in 2h

Good spot, it's popular station on highway. I got ride directly to Belgrade in few minutes. If the driver asks you to came across the border by foot it is ok. The customs service are used to hitchhikers and crossing the border by foot.

We tried to hitchhike towards Nisz/Sofi. We didn't have time to part well when a very nice TIR driver stopped. He didn't go to Nisz, but he drove us to a large gas station from where it seems that we should easily catch something towards Sofia. In general, the place of great cars slow down is contact with drivers and entry on the A1 road.

La amikino, kiu veturigis min tuj kiam ŝi alvenis al ĉi tiu benzinstacio, trovis por mi iun, kiu iris rekte al Beogrado. Nur bonaj homoj. Sed tio estas signo, ke ili haltas tie.

It seems to be a pretty good place to hitchhiking in the direction of Budapest. There is a gas station, a large parking lot for which trucks and passenger cars stand. The station can be reached directly from the E60 road. We tried to catch transport from there to Budapest (from where we wanted to go further towards Belgrade) we were lucky and we came across a driver from Serbia who easily offered us a ride to Belgrade. In general, the traffic is quite high and a lot of locals and tourists. (There is also a Tesla charging station so maybe you can hitchhiking a Tesla)

A lot of Serbians cars going after the work (16-17:00) back home. A lot of traffic. I believe this is a good spot (especially for Serbia, where they don't usually take hitchhikers). You don't even need a sign.
True that you won't get far though.

Hated this spot. Just locals going nowhere. After 2,5h waiting and asking people, I decided to get to better spot. It was indeed much better. You can walk there (40mins), or you can ask some Serbians to give you 1 minute ride.
I don't recommend this place. Move away from here.

I had a sign with Belgrade and asked a few drivers. The third driver I asked first said no but then came back to me and told me that I could come. He was going to the outskirts of Belgrade but he told me that there where free busses.

A good spot for Belgrade. I was sceptical at first bcs google maps was showing me a different faster route to Belgrade but a local guy told us this is the road people take. We got a sign to Belgrade and got picked up pretty fast. Its near a gas station so a lot of place to pull over

Great spot for hitching out of Belgrade north. There is quiet a lot of traffic, mostly local though. Easy to get a ride to a gas station or toll station on A1 northbound somewhere near Belgrade from which you can then hitch hike towards Novi Sad and Hungary. We were 2 guys, used Novi Sad sign and got a ride to Stara Pazova toll station.
